Zanjan

This old pleasant City probably was build by the first king of Sassanid empire. Zanjan moment of infamy came in 1851 when the prime minister Amir kabir ordered the execution of Bahai religion followers. The city is known for its beautiful handicrafts, traditional sandals called Charoogh and a plethora of knife-grinders.
